How to Assemble:

  1. Once you have made the brownie batter, pour half of the mixture into your prepared pan, evenly spread using a spatula to cover the whole base.

  2. Top the batter with the Oreos until completely covered.

  3. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the Oreos and evenly spread using a spatula.

  4. Using your remaining Oreos, roughly chop them and evenly sprinkle them all over your brownie. Bake for 35 minutes or until the top is firm.

  5. Allow to cool, then slice into as many pieces as you like and enjoy!

Baking Tips:

  • Melting your chocolate: Make sure you only microwave the chocolate in 30 second bursts or else your chocolate will burn.

  • Don’t over bake: You want a wooden skewer in the center of the brownie to come out with moist crumbs, not completely dry. The brownie will continue to cook while it cools in the pan.

  • Allow to cool before slicing: Once you have removed these brownies from the oven, allow them to cool fully in the pan to help them set and firm up in the cooling process. Since these brownies are quite fudgy, if you remove them too soon it can be quite messy when you slice into the brownie.
