How to Assemble:

  1. Once you have made the cookie batter, pour half of the batter into your prepared pan and evenly spread using a spatula to cover the whole base.

  2. Break up the Kit Kat bars into individual pieces and evenly lay them on top of the cookie dough.

  3. Pour the remaining cookie batter over the layer of Kit Kats and evenly spread to cover them using a spatula.

  4. Chop up your remaining Kit Kats and evenly sprinkle them over the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden.

  5. Allow to cool fully in the pan to help firm up. Remove from the pan and cut into as many as you like and enjoy!

Baking Tips:

  • Kit Kats: You can use any combination or flavour of Kit Kats; I chose to stick with milk chocolate as they are my favourite.

  • Don’t over bake: Try not to overbake this slice as it will continue to bake as it cools in the pan.

  • Let it cool: Let the cookie slice cool completely before removing from the pan and slicing up to help firm up the cookie.
